Friday, September 18, 2009 - Tasted in double-blind fashion. This bottle was bad, although not obviously flawed (corked, oxidized, heat damaged, etc.). Very under-ripe and astringent, it was literally painful to drink. Virtually all tasters had the same impression. Perhaps another bottle would show differently. If I owned the wine, I would taste it again and unload any remaining bottles if the result was the same.
