Saturday, August 30, 2003 - 13.9% alcohol. 11,000 cases made. Puchased locally at Pogos for $65.00. Opened and decanted for 45 minutes prior to serving in Spiegelau Authentis Magnum glasses. Color was a dark, slightly opaque garnet. Nose was herbal with some white pepper and tobacco. Flavors were mostly black berries and currants wrapped inside an earthy frame. 88 points. Drink again in 2004 to reevaluate. Should drink well from 2004 to 2006.
