Wednesday, October 3, 2012 - A classic nose of pencil lead and dark, brambly berry fruit. Much less fruit-driven than most examples of the genre (as well as other vintages of this wine) but lovely in savory way. On the palate, it had chalky tannins and medium body with good balance and structure. A pleasure to drink now and probably for a few more years.
