Saturday, May 14, 2005 - Chateau Montelena vertical (1973-2002) (Bellevue, WA): Nice showing for a wine from a weak vintage. The nose is brooding with hints of leather and a faint note of bell pepper. The palate shows some tobacco and is nice and spicy. Group average 90.2 pts.
