Saturday, May 14, 2005 - 4 Decades, 21 Bottles, 1 Producer- Chateau Montelena (Daniel's Broiler, Bellevue , WA): This showed well for an "off" vintage. The nose showed melted caramel and black fruit. The palate was very sweet and young. Like the other vintages it showed good balance. What was especially nice about this wine was the long finish. This should age well.
