Tuesday, September 25, 2018 - One of my favorite montelenas because many in wine press dismissed it due to an off year. Cassis and dark berry nose, immediately delicious with briary red fruit and even after 20 hours open still has a vibrant mid palate finish of 15 seconds. I bought a case of this and wish I had bought two cases! Fruit is just now getting some baked cherry notes but not at all sappy. I have enjoyed every single bottle of this case as it has never gone dumb.
