Thursday, May 16, 2019 - Cellared since release, bottom 1/2" of cork stained, fill into the neck. Dark red core with a little bricking at the rim. Not verygiving, some muted fruit and dusty/musty aromas on opening. Took a full 2 hours in the glass to open, but boy did it open. Rich nose of earthy, piney forest, cassis, smoke and cherry. Moderate aged complexity. Medium body, nice balance, acid and tannins in harmony, good fruit presence, medium finish. Excellent, with many years to go.
