Thursday, May 5, 2022 - On the nose the wine offers some ripe apples and even some crispy pear notes. On the palate the wine has a very oily, silky consistency. Nice bright acids and ripe apples, very sublte citrus and honey, even some white pepper. Oakiness starts to come through as the wine opens up more. Overall, this wine is super elegant and generous. Excellent drinking experience with many layers and nuances. Should keep well for another few years... if you can keep yourself from opening a bottle.
