On the palate you can definitely tell the wine's age. The fruit is almost gone, but still reverberates in the aftertaste. Aromas are made up by peppers, spices and a certain herbaciousness. You can still tell the origin of the wine given that it still shows the typical Rhône-Syrah aromas. On the finish the wine seems rather thin and haggard with an intensly spiking acidity. This sure is interesting, should have been drunk a while ago though.
