Friday, July 14, 2006 - Tasted from two bottles with consistent notes. This wine was muted and bland. There is some fruit flavors, but they do not last long. I had much higher hopes for this since I knew that WS gave it 90 points, but I did not taste anything like the WS review had me hoping for. Pretty big dissapointment since we used to drink the 1999 Merlot quite regularly a few years back.
