Not quite at the same level as the best German renditions, but this curiosity (based on the grape) is definitely quite delicious. There's an interesting tannic note to this wine, but there aren't any pyrazines (perhaps the one time it's ok for cabernet franc to not have them). Good sweetness, with a slightly thick texture, I would have liked this to have a little more acid. Nonetheless, I think I could drink more of this than most other wines opened tonight.
