Friday, August 26, 2011 - A slight bit of browning, but still mainly purple on the rim. A dark garnet body. Blackberry, blueberry, a hint of chocolate and some oak. Medium fruit concentration. A medium finish with a little heat in the gullet. Food seemed to abate the heat on the finish. To me this wine had a better delivery when younger.
