Sunday, September 9, 2018 - Drank this with dinner in Healdsburg after purchasing at Hawley's tasting room. I was just ok or ok-plus at the tasting room but my better half liked it a lot so we bought a bottle. At the restaurant, it opened quickly, was much more expressive than at the tasting, and went very well with our meal (lamb chops for me). A lot of dark compelling fruits but not jammy, medium or medium-minus acid. Not too floral, this is just a very nice food wine for $34.
