Monday, January 15, 2024 - Opaque rusty bowl fading at the rim. Ripe fruits, cedar, plums on the nose. Palate is ripe blackberries, raspberries, cooked plums, faint spices, a little vanilla. Medium plus tannins, medium acidity. Not a traditionally smooth Amarone, but not bad for what it is. The tannins tell me it could age some more so that might even out the flavors a bit.
