Thursday, January 6, 2022 - 93% Marsanne, 7% Rousanne. Guigal recommend ageing for 20 years. Big rich and intense, this has a wonderful unctuous mouth feel. On the palate this has a real sense of substance, though there is no skin contact. Flavours of stone fruit and honey. Long finish, already with some complexity. Will become waxier, richer and develop volume with age.
