Friday, November 10, 2023 - I heavily decanted this to smooth it out. Nose has a lot of alcohol, then red licorice, stewed ripe strawberries & cranberry jelly, blackberries, black cherries plus vanilla, cedar. Palate also has black plums, cinnamon. Strong tannins linger in the sides of the tongue, but so did the jammy dark fruits. Medium+ finish.
It's quite a heavy, dark jammy, spicy punch in the tongue. 15.0% alcohol.
