2016 Yarra Yering Dry Red N°1

Community Tasting Note

Likes this wine:

Wednesday, November 8, 2023 - sweet and ripe nose, blueberry, blackcurrant, cherry, tobacco, spring flowers, graphite and thyme, a touch of graham cracker and vanilla... full and dense on the palate, great acid cut for this kind of richness and weight, primary and lively, the Bordeaux varietal characters come through more on the palate, lots of fine tannin, strong acid line... long and concentrated, too young, this will be way more interesting in 10 years, lovely stuff, doing the Yarra proud...
