Saturday, October 1, 2022 - Deep ruby in glass with slight garnet edge.
17 months on 70% new oak.
Pronounced nose of green bell pepper, eucalyptus, blackberry, black currant. Secondary nose of nutmeg, cedar and vanilla This wine is clearly developing in bottle.
Palate is high acidity, high but smooth tannins, high alcohol, Flavor intensity med+, full body. Green bell pepper dominating, while only mild tertiary of earth, tobacco, vegetal, and herb.
Finish med+. Outstanding. Can drink now but has potential for further aging.
