Explosively full nose: brioche, lemon, smoky roasted nuts, and honey. Somehow, the nose manages to be elegant while fully open about the brute power that lies within this wine. Powerful rich and creamy mouthfeel with a full-bodied palate of lemon, vanilla, spice, almond, and rich toasty biscuit. Very long finish. Drinking much better than last year. A nice value, too, for vintage Champagne of this caliber. An incredible experience – one of the best Champagnes I’ve tasted all year!
