Friday, May 16, 2008 - Showing a bit more vanilla on the nose than when I last had this wine. Also, there are scents of cherry and slight pencil lead. Good structure for a new-world Merlot, which carries the dark red fruit flavors out to a pleasant finish. Certainly better than your average CA merlot.
