Saturday, February 13, 2021 - Opened a day ago had a half glass of wine decided to vacuum the bottle and let it sit for a day. The first taste was predominantly very ripe dark fruits with a strong tannic spine.
Second day the wine mellowed out and the fruit and tannins where better balanced. This had a slight bitter taste from the tannins on the back of the palate but was a great tasting wine. Glad I opened a bottle but this wine needs more time and will be exceptional in a few years. An excellent Corton.
