Friday, November 23, 2018 - Tasted after 2015 Gabarinza. More Blaufränkisch specificity on the nose - cherries, cherry stones, a bit of smoky oak, some dark berry fruit, tobacco - lots of depth and complexity. On the palate more structured in comparison, powerful tannins, more obviously mineral, grippy and quite tight. Vibrant and very persistent finish. Needs time, but very promising. 94-95+
