Friday, December 8, 2006 - Purple-tinged getting muddy before a watery rim. Bouquet of red fruit salad, and faintly meaty. Sweet through savoury structure, then moderate acid and tannins that make the lips smack. Extremely moreish. Herby, spicy, choccy, peppery palate. Finishes with a medicinal flourish which is slightly astringent, but in a good way. Soft and seductive. Lovely.
