Sunday, August 29, 2021 - As part of our Brunello trip to Montalcino, 2021, we did a side-trip to Livorno - inspired by Stanley Tucci's Searching for Italy, to indulge is some wonderful seafood the this 2012 Reserve in addition. Brown hue, subtle nose. Modest first taste of dark fruits - cherries, currants, blackberries into a long finish and long linger . Wonderfully developed leather, barn earth, hint of pepper and of spice. A good wine drinking well
