91 Points

Sunday, July 19, 2015 - Tasted blind. Dark, dense, concentrated, unckear red color with lots of sediment and aging in the edges. Nose gives me lots of dried fruits with prunes and raisins. Blackcurrant toddy. Palate is cool, fruity with lots of blueberries. A salty aspect also comes into the mix. Powerful and concentrated and drying towards the end. This one has developed too fast. The bottle has at some point in time been damaged by heat, most likely. '00 premier cru from Leroy should not show dried fruits like this. Still a very good wine, but no longer representative of the vintage and producer.
