Sunday, March 7, 2021 - A sweet, musty note that recalls confectioner's sugar on the nose. Dry, elevated acidity, moderate but firm tannins, full bodied. Syrah-driven, black-fruited, fresh, spicy and focused. Savory finish, and a stony impression that wouldn't be out of place in the Northern Rhône. But elevated alcohol and some fruit sweetness suggests some grenache, and a little, sharp metallic bite at the end I ascribe to carignan. 14.5°
