Saturday, August 29, 2009 - Angela's Birthday Party (Crown Wine Cellars, Hong Kong): Decanted for 10+ hours beforehand. Black colour, totally opaque graduating to translucent deep red at the edge. Closed nose but giving thick glycerine and trademark deep stewed plums. Gorgeous chewy and slightly tart palate of coffee and very deep black plums. Enormous length and great resonance in the head on the finish. Young but very promising. Lovely.
