Tuesday, February 21, 2023 - A very good $30 Bordeaux. Black garnet color suggests class. A raft of minerals and iodine in the nose is pretty. Medium body, nicely delineated fruit flavors, could easily pass for a wine of higher station. Only flaw is a bit of hollowness in the mid-palate and short finish. One of the better value plays in this vintage (and others as well, for that matter). If you like a nice, mellow, easy-drinking Bordeaux that is a real people-pleaser, try this. 5-12-14-8: 89/100.
