Sunday, April 12, 2020 - Decanted in glass about 39 minutes. Dark fruit and some mild spice on the nose, maybe a bit of earthiness too. Flavor was muted dark fruit and forest floor, a little smoke and wood. Drank over 90 minutes and it mellows even more with shallow fruit but more pronounced smoke and earthiness. Served with roasted rack of lamb and mushroom risotto. An exceptional bottle! 3 more to go over the next 10 years.
