It's a little fungal and herbal, a touch of smokiness, incredible rich honey and toffee apple. Complex but deliciously approachable. Superb acidity and weight. It just feels so effortless and light. The only thing stopping me going higher than 95 is the finish, which is a little bit short (for a >95 wine, still great though). I opened this thinking it would be a fairly decent mid week wine, and was blown away. Can't wait to try the 2018.
