Friday, November 8, 2013 - A little too much ethyl alcohol on the nose, joined by notes of plums, musty juice, and scorched raisins. Flavors of dry plums, tart cranberries, tart whitecurrants and raisins on the palate. Better after 25 minutes in the glass, but it started becoming hot on the finish after 45. Still drinking well three hours after opening. Overall, this is slightly past its prime, and the alcohol is beginning to take over the fruit. 87-88
