90 Points

Sunday, December 13, 2020 - Blackberries, red cherries, smoke, earth, a little new leather, some light barrel scents, and a little sweetness that comes out with swirling. Tart cherry, red cherry, blackberries, tart plums, earth, herbs, and spice on the palate. Very good mouthwatering acidity, grippy tannins, medium finish. Wow, this is such a nice tempranillo, one of the better domestic ones I've tried. It's quite dense and extracted, but not overextracted like a lot of them. It needs a lengthy decant, btw.
