Thursday, July 12, 2012 - Charlie Trotter's Farewell Dinner with Montrachet, Brulees and Cros Parantoux (Charlie Trotter's, Chicago IL): Popped and poured. Darked color than it should be. Oxidative notes right from the start and it only got worse as time progressed. Waxy yellow fruits, with quite a bit of nuttiness. Showed a lot of acidity that only got more pronounced and obstrusive. If that was the only bottle of white, it would be drinkable, but fortunately we had the 2000 in the next glass.
