Saturday, April 16, 2016 - Duke's La Jolla, 4/16/16 (Duke's Restaurant, La Jolla, California): Clear light gold color. Beautiful bouquet of white peach, peach blossoms, lychee, pear, beeswax, snake fruit (which I ate a lot of last month in Indonesia), and hints of white grapefruit pith and thyme. Similar on the palate, delicate, complex, subtle, with a suggestion of chamomile tea and a touch of quinine on the finish.
