Wednesday, October 25, 2023 - In a great drinking window, pop and pour was good here - there’s ripe but grippy tannins but opens with only 10mins in the glass and improves over an hour, when vanilla notes are more distinct. Sweet but silky and not a monster. There’s a lot of black fruit but it’s not super defined, complex or dense. Somewhere between elegant and four square. Good but not great. Paired well with a burger though. Drink to 2030. 93-94pts
