In the mouth, this wine was ripe and rich and yet firm and still a bit young. It had lovely balance but I felt the wine was not really showing all it has yet.

If you decide to pop this, I would suggest a 4+ hour decant. Alternatively, it should pick up a point or two with 5 - 10 more years in the cellar.
