This vintage has strong ripe fruit flavor (? raisin, apricot), quite different from 2016 vintage which I also tasted, and is fairly big bodied. Doesn't really taste much like a pinot gris - maybe more like a late harvest sauvignon blanc. I like dessert wines, so I enjoyed it, but others may not. Should be served quite cold - 45-50 F.
