Wednesday, January 9, 2008 - Very little aroma upon opening; tight and tannic on the palate. After four days of sitting open in my cellar, the wine blossomed into a beautiful, fresh port with lovely aromas of berry, plum, and chocolate. Great vintage port character for a fraction of the price. Continued to drink beautifully for another couple days thereafter, until we finished it. Cellar for another few years, or decant for at least a few hours before drinking. 90+
