Tuesday, November 3, 2020 - From second-day glass. I was about to tuck in to a bit of squid and spinach stew as I started sniffing this, but definitely a fresh squid note, with also rain and rocks, and some grapes. It was a second-day glass because the proprietress had been overwhelmed by the acid upon opening, but now it was nicely lively and zesty, with a palate of soft, juicy lemons and rain on rocks, hints of herb and white flowers. Lot of flavor here, and alcohol at 12%. Very good (and a terrific match with the squid stew).
