Sunday, December 29, 2019 - An oenophile friend shared this very special bottle from his cellar last night. This wine is just a baby and time didn't allow for a proper decant. Even with the age and o2 disadvantages, this wine displayed tremendous promise. Dark and dense, elegant and palate coating, this Cabernet Franc also had a deft balance of acidity and tannins for an enjoyable finish. A couple more years in the bottle and time in the decanter should present an exceptional wine. 93+ now with great potential.
