Sunday, August 18, 2019 - Sunday night dinner with "the kids". At $33/bottle this is a nice QPR, head and shoulders above any supermarket Pinot in the price range. Gotta say its nice to drink a Pinot where you're not struggling to find creative ways to describe tart/cherry/cranberry like some of that thin bark water across the pond. Not something I'm going to kick back to enjoy on its own and wax poetic about but pop open a couple of bottles for dinner and it will go well with most of what's being served. Nice medium body with warm red fruits, subdued flowery nose and some spiciness on the finish. Excellent with grilled salmon and quinoa. Last of 4 so these didn't last long, might have to pick up a case next time.
