Saturday, May 20, 2023 - A nice dark cherry color in the glass with little in the way of legs. The nose had a bit of orange zest and strong cherry to it as well as a mild loamy mushroom.
On the palate it showed itself to be a light bodied red with a tannic backbone balanced by good acid. There were floral, cherry, and plum notes. Bone dry, it worked very well with Pasta Amatriciana. I think it could have aged for a few more years before it was at peak.
