Monday, August 6, 2018 - Dense concentration of luscious fruit. Blackcurrant and blackberry. Incredible tannin structure that scaffolds the wine. It’s a much tighter wine than the straight Malbec and really needs years to get to its peak. Dark red to black in colour and just beautifully balanced. An extraordinary wine; a lesson in good winemaking. Proper long term cellaring will be richly rewarded. Patience really is the key to this.
