Wednesday, May 26, 2004 - This was a nice Sauternes/Barsac but I just thought it was young and rough around the edges. Rich yellow color. Notes of apricot, almond and nutmeg with a slightly spicy finish. Full bodied and textural. Needs significant time in my opinion. Not really my style of Sauternes but for those with a preference for fuller and spicier dessert wines it will be up your alley. 92-94+ points. Closer to the low end now.
