Friday, March 8, 1991 - With K and Miranda at home at dinner (steak). Gorgeous dark ruby color, and viscous with thick glycerin legs. The nose is absolutely fabulous, with deep rich Cabernet fruit, cassis, plum and beautifully integrated oak. Textbook. On the palate, it is richly fruity, with just tons of berry fruit. Wow! It's hard to describe how richly endowed this wine is, with a hedonistic fruitiness, silkiness and structure that must be experienced. Fully mature, it is a luscious, delicious, elegant and lovely wine in all repsects. Easily demonstrates the greatness of the '82s. What great fruit. 5-13-19-8: 95/100.
