Monday, February 11, 2013 - In a tasting of 12 wines, all of the 1982 vintage tasted blind and remnants re-tasted the next day.
Classic cab nose of cassis and evergreen but still has not fully evolved; somewhat attenuated in body which did not match the nose. Still it was bright, balanced and savory. Next day there was more amplitude to the body and the wine was lush and very rich. Will last another decade easily before declining.. ****
