Monday, July 11, 2016 - Among a cornucopia of amazing wines on this night hosted by Christies, this was clearly WOTN. Aromas of ripe warm black fruits, scorched earth, and a toasty sweetness. Simply a nose to die for! Surprisingly smooth rich and pure with deep red and black fruits. Velvety and and ripe with outstanding balance and nuanced black toasty spices. Sexy, elegant, and divine. A seamless wine form beginning to end. This was a great bottle drinking more like a 1990, then a 1982 in terms of age. A wow wine.
