Friday, May 6, 2011 - Deep inky purple with a translucent fringe and think legs. The nose is full of cassis, blackberry, herbs. spice box and roasted meat. The black fruits are upfront with blackberry, & currants followed by a vanilla leather, herbs, lavendar (could be more vanilla), white pepper & spice. This wine has a plenty of tannins for a full mouth feel and plenty of aging and leaves you with a long finish. I will let the rest stay awhile in the cellar.
