Blanc de Noirs old vines.

At the sight, one is very quickly challenged by the amber color of the wine which is older than its age. The effervescence is delicate.

The nose is enchanting, on black fruits, plum, redcurrant, a touch of smoke and a rancio side. Airing will give it added complexity with a delicious floral touch.

The mouth is dense, with this oxidative signature characteristic of the domain. The juice is magnificent in amplitude, loose, contained power. It's vinous and concentrated, on a superb balance with an acid frame of goldsmith that stretches the wine in a serene way. A real quiet force, where black fruits, vinosity and nuts such as hazelnuts blend harmoniously. Great explosive finish of freshness, it lines the mouth over a nice length.

Excellent, I was sometimes less enthusiastic about the Selosse' plots, but this bottle was a concentrate of pleasure.
