Tuesday, September 15, 2020 - If someone asked me what Gamay tastes like, I would just give them this bottle and nod sagely. So if you want $16 USD/$22 CAD worth of old vines archetypical Cru Beaujolais, this is your guy. Fresh red and blue fruit, nice acidity, a pinch of dusty tannin. A touch herbal, a bit of gravelly minerality with a touch of black pepper on the finish. A winner for me. No fuss, no muss.
